Compensation: $55k base salary + uncapped commission

Position: Technical Sales (IT Account Manager)

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Sales (IT Account Manager) to join their team!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mix of technical understanding and a passion for client-facing roles to join a growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone to leverage their sales expertise and passion about building client relationships while working with technology. The Information Technology Account Manager will step into a warm pipeline with active clients—providing momentum from day one and plenty of room to grow their own book of business. With a focus on long-term relationships over transactional sales, this role is perfect for someone who wants to act as a trusted technology partner, not just a seller. You’ll work closely with pre-sales engineers to deliver customized solutions and engage with a wide range of clients through business reviews, strategy sessions, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities
• Partner with pre-sales engineers to develop and present tailored technology solutions
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and act as a strategic advisor to clients

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Basic technical knowledge of networking hardware such as firewalls, routers, and switches
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to articulate the business value of technical solutions to non-technical audiences

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing technical roles
• Understanding of IT concepts and cloud-based services
• Experience prospecting or building a book of business
