Compensation: $23-27/hour

Location: Houston, Texas

Position: IT Technician 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Level 1 IT Technician to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated IT professional to provide critical support across multiple locations while collaborating with a dynamic and knowledgeable team. This contract role offers a minimum commitment through the end of the year, with the potential for extension, as the company transitions to an external service desk model in early next year. The selected candidate will enjoy a hybrid work schedule, working onsite three days a week and remotely two days a week, along with a rotating on-call schedule every six weeks. The organization is seeking someone who brings a strong positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and solid technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support for desktop applications, phone systems, and end-user technologies.
• Assist with rolling out new technologies such as phones, networks, and systems across the organization.
• Manage and maintain hardware, software, MFP inventory, and server support.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, phone system configurations, and service desk ticket management.
• Monitor system performance and respond quickly to technical issues and outages.
• Assist in integrating enterprise applications with cloud services for streamlined user access.
• Participate in strategic planning for web-based initiatives and applications.
• Provide onsite IT support for the assigned office location.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing weekend support approximately every six weeks.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in computer administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to deploy, configure, and support desktop and mobile operating systems.
• Experience administering Office365 and Active Directory.
• Background supporting end-user phone systems and multiple locations.
• General knowledge of network connectivity related to desktop and local area networks.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and methodologies.
