Position: Transmissions Analyst

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, United States

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Transmissions Analyst to join their team! As a leading renewable energy firm, our client is dedicated to developing, constructing, and operating high-quality wind and solar generation, transmission, and energy storage facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the global transition to sustainable energy while working with a team that values trust, accountability, and transparency. Based in vibrant Houston, you’ll be at the heart of the company’s energy management activities. This role is crucial in supporting the company’s mission to promote renewable energy, and you will be the key liaison between the accounting group and various departments like Energy Management and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage transmission settlements for energy management activities
• Monitor and analyze market-based activities of generating assets
• Ensure accuracy in information for transmission settlements
• Verify, evaluate, and analyze transmission and market statements
• Monitor and analyze impact of rate changes on costs
• Perform shadow settlements and validate market data
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve billing disputes
• Assist with invoicing statements and cash forecasting
• Support accurate accounting and financial reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience meeting deadlines for reporting and special projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in renewable energy or regulated utility industry
• Knowledge of Energy Imbalance Market and Bilateral settlements
• Familiarity with energy management systems
• Experience with financial transmission rights
