Compensation: $95,000.00 – $130,000.00

Position: Credit Analyst III

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Credit Analyst III to join their team!

As a Credit Analyst III, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the credit department. This includes managing new counterparty setups, setting and monitoring credit limits, reviewing contracts, handling customer inquiries, mentoring team members, and preparing reports. You’ll also contribute to departmental projects and help onboard and train new employees. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing counterparties; recommend or approve credit limits within Delegation of Authority.
• Review and approve new and amended counterparty contracts.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to credit exposure.
• Prepare and maintain regular reporting on credit operations.
• Contribute to process improvements and credit risk mitigation efforts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance/Accounting/Business role.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a safety-first mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Solid understanding of financial statements and credit analysis tools.
• Confident communicator, capable of presenting information to leadership and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work overtime or extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Oil and gas experience in a Finance or Accounting role.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with industry agreements such as NAESB, ISDA, Credit Support Annex, Special Provisions, and ICE.
