Compensation:$120,000 – $150,000

Location: Boulder, CO

Position: Software Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Software Engineer to join their team!

This is a highly specialized role supporting the development of IoT solutions in a secure, mission-driven environment. The team has existing expertise in AWS, but this position focuses specifically on AWS IoT Core, integrating wearable and RF devices into innovative platforms. You’ll join a collaborative, Agile development team led by a seasoned engineering manager and help shape the future of edge computing within the organization. This is a great opportunity to make a significant technical impact in a hybrid setting with a stable, security-conscious organization.
 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop IoT solutions using AWS IoT Core

• Implement device-to-cloud integrations and edge processing systems

• Develop in C# within Agile Scrum teams

• Collaborate across teams to support full-stack AWS architecture

• Maintain version control and support change management processes

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience

• 2+ years working in Agile environments

• Strong experience with AWS IoT Core and edge computing

• Proficiency in C# and familiarity with broader AWS services (Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3, DynamoDB)

• Deep understanding of IoT protocols and architectures

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field 

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with wearable/RF devices

• Background in manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of standard software design patterns and development tools
