Compensation: $65,000-70,000

Position: Access Control Technician 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Access Control Technician to join their team!

This is an exciting, field-based opportunity for a technician to work hands-on installing and programming security systems across various client sites. The role offers variety in day-to-day work and the chance to be the go-to expert on critical security infrastructure. This team is growing and needs a reliable, experienced tech who’s ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test CCTV and access control systems at customer sites
• Run cabling, mount hardware, and ensure clean and secure physical installations
• Use a computer to program NVRs and access panels according to site requirements
• Troubleshoot and support systems during and after installation
• Communicate with clients during installations to ensure all needs are met
• Provide emergency support for system issues outside of regular hours, as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience with hands-on installation of CCTV and access control systems
• Skilled in hardware mounting, cable running, and making physical connections
• Ability to program and configure NVRs and access control panels via computer
• Comfortable working independently in the field and interfacing with clients
• Flexible availability to assist with after-hours or weekend service calls

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with alarm systems such as keypads or control panels
• Exposure to Kantech or DSX access control systems
• Understanding of basic WAN/LAN network functionality
• Industry certifications related to access control or security systems

• This role involves daily travel to client sites within the city
