Compensation: $25 – $35/hour (+/-)
Location: Midland, TX (100% onsite)
Position: Desktop Support

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support professional to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to step into a highly visible and hands-on role supporting all levels of users, including executives. This position is open due to a backfill and will play a critical part in ensuring IT support processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be personable, technically proficient, and ready to take ownership of Tier 1 support while contributing to long-term IT initiatives like inventory management and AV system upgrades.

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day desktop support for internal users, including executives
• Resolve technical issues related to Microsoft environments, hardware, and virtual desktops
• Support efforts in maintaining IT inventory and end-user device management
• Collaborate with AV contractors on new conference room setups and AV projects
• Contribute to after-hours support coverage when needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in IT support roles
• Strong Microsoft background, including O365, Active Directory, and permissions management
• Hands-on experience in a service desk environment
• Exposure to system administration tasks
• Familiarity with VMWare Horizon or other virtual desktop platforms

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience supporting oil and gas industry applications
• Understanding of networking and server management
• Comfort navigating diverse application ecosystems
