Compensation: $125k–135k
Location: Catoosa, OK
Position: EHS Director

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled EHS Director to join their team! This opportunity offers the chance to work across multiple facilities, driving impactful initiatives in environmental health and safety. This person will play a pivotal role in enhancing workplace safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading sustainability efforts across the region. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and leadership in EHS programs, this position provides the platform to make a tangible difference within a dynamic industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of regional environmental, health, and safety (EHS) strategies and initiatives
• Create and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs across multiple locations
• Monitor compliance with federal and state EHS regulations and proactively manage changes
• Conduct site audits to ensure adherence to company safety policies and legal requirements
• Serve as a technical advisor to engineering and production teams on EHS-related topics
• Guide the implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce carbon footprint
• Maintain accurate and timely OSHA and safety documentation and reporting
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Facilitate monthly safety committee meetings and document outcomes and action plans
• Collaborate with plant leaders to implement engineering controls and select PPE
• Support multiple offsite facilities and travel regionally up to 35% of the time

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene discipline
• 5+ years of experience in an EHS role or related field
• Proficiency with federal and state EHS regulations, particularly OSHA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience in multi-site EHS management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification
• Familiarity with chemical manufacturing operations
• Experience with safety initiatives driven by various local agencies
• Knowledge of NEPA and ANSI standards
• Experience with 5S/6S programs
• Background in developing safety incentive programs to influence safety behaviors

• Approximately 30–35% overnight travel required
• Must be able to work collaboratively with regulatory agencies and contractors
• Candidate must be self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities across remote service centers
