Position: Cyber Security Engineer

Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Midland, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Design and implement security solutions like firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Conduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments
• Lead incident response efforts including containment and recovery
• Monitor security systems and logs for incidents
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure
• Research and evaluate new security technologies
• Provide security awareness training to employees

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Experience in security policy and procedure development
• Proven ability to design and implement security solutions
• Strong understanding of threat analysis and incident response
• Familiarity with NIST CSF and ISO 27001 standards
• Technical expertise in security tools like Firewall Management and SIEM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Cybersecurity work experience in OT/Industrial Controls Systems environments
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or Security+
