Position: IT Field Technician

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Field Technician to join their team! This role offers an extensive travel schedule, hands-on technical work, and opportunities for career growth. The technician will travel to store locations across the country, supporting the setup and installation of essential technology systems.

Basic Purpose:
The IT Field Technician I is responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of POS systems, office PCs, networking devices, and fuel dispensing systems at various store locations. Responsibilities include end-user training, project coordination, equipment setup, testing, and adherence to project guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Install and test POS, CCTV, PC, and networking devices in new and existing stores.
• Perform wiring, termination, and testing of network infrastructure.
• Train store personnel on the use of equipment.
• Ensure optimal placement of equipment for customer flow and employee efficiency.
• Maintain accurate expense reports and adhere to company guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations and vendors to meet project timelines.
• Travel nationwide to various store locations approximately 30-35 weeks per year.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Basic network installation skills and PC knowledge.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hand tools and a familiarity with network and computer systems.

Other Information:

• Travel Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, with the goal of returning home by Friday evening each week.
• Travel & Transportation: Flights are provided for locations more than 8 hours from Oklahoma City. Company vehicles are available for local travel, with rental cars provided for distant sites.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background check, and drug test are required.
