Position: GIS Tech

Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Midland, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled GIS Tech to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as a GIS Tech, where you’ll play a pivotal role in mapping and data management for a leading Geoscience Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for geospatial data and process improvement, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Generate and update maps using ArcMap and WebMap tools
• Maintain technical spatial databases for accurate geospatial information
• Collaborate with geology and corporate planning teams
• Support corporate spatial data science projects
• Integrate external data sources into projects
• Identify workflows for automation and process improvement
• Participate in development and operational meetings

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• BA/BS in Geography, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Proven competency with ESRI’s software suite
• Strong cartographic experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a GIS Analyst supporting asset development
• Self-motivated and capable of independent work
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
