Compensation: $105,000-$110,000 + Bonus

Location: Berkley Springs, WV

Position: Accountant

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant to join their team!

This is a high-priority role with clear advancement potential—ideal for someone ready to step into a visible role and grow into a Plant Accountant III, mentor/pod leader, or even a Regional Assistant Controller. You'll work closely with both the Plant Manager and Regional Controller to drive operational accounting, oversee month-end reporting, and take ownership of plant-level financials. This position offers the opportunity to support different plants throughout your career, providing variety and valuable cross-plant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support plant and corporate accounting transaction functions.
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Provide inventory management and cost control oversight, including storeroom and product inventory.
• Assist in plant operational accounting and monthly close processes.
• Partner with the Plant Manager and Regional Controller to drive financial performance.
• Support annual audit processes.
• Rotate plant support assignments and travel quarterly to on-site locations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of related manufacturing accounting experience, including:
• Cost accounting (hard requirement!)
• GAAP
• Cost analysis

• Inventory management and cost control experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable communicating across multiple levels of the organization; quick to adapt. Nice-to-Haves:
  • JD Edwards experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems, including Bills of Material and Routers.
  • CPA certification.
