Compensation: $65,000-$80,000

Location: Castle Rock, CO 

Position: Accountant 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant to join their team!

This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-driven organization supporting one of Colorado’s fastest-growing communities. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of professional accounting duties, from ledger and bank reconciliations to financial statement preparation and grant compliance. It’s a chance to work in a values-oriented environment where transparency, service, and stewardship are at the forefront. This role offers exposure to many facets of accounting—making it ideal for someone looking to grow in complexity, responsibility, and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ledger and bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance

• Support month-end and year-end close, financial statement prep, and audit readiness

• Manage fixed assets, cash transactions, and grant/contract accounting

• Assist with compliance reporting and special financial projects

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• 2+ years of professional accounting experience

• Knowledge of GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end processes

• Familiarity with cash management, ACH/wire transactions, and financial reporting

• Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with governmental or public sector accounting

• Exposure to grant compliance (Single Audit, SEFA, Davis-Bacon)

• Knowledge of fixed asset reporting and ACFR/PAFR preparation

• Familiarity with financial system integrations (e.g., point-of-sale or utility billing systems)
