Position: AP Analyst

Compensation: $25 – $35 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP Analyst to join their team!

Join an exciting project focused on bringing clean energy from Texas to the world. As an AP Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency, supporting a major liquefied natural gas export initiative. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Process high-volume vendor invoices in SAP
• Review and manage prepaid expenses
• Ensure proper three-way match of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal departments for AP issue resolution
• Assist in month-end close processes, including AP accruals
• Maintain compliance with internal controls
• Support audit requests
• Maintain vendor records in SAP
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with SAP for invoice processing
• Strong understanding of prepaid expenses and reconciliations
• Ability to perform three-way match of purchase documents
• Excellent problem-solving skills for discrepancies
• Effective communication with internal departments
• Experience in month-end close processes
• Knowledge of internal controls and audit support

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the energy sector
• Familiarity with vendor onboarding processes
