Compensation: $120,000-150,000/year

Position: Financial Systems Infrastructure Engineer 

Inceed has partnered with a leader in the financial services and lending industry to help find a skilled Financial Systems Infrastructure Engineer to join their team!

This is a full-time opportunity to join a leader in the financial services space. As a key SME within the FinOps and/or Infrastructure & Secure Messaging division, this engineer will support internal infrastructure by focusing on SWIFT technologies and cloud transformation. You'll work hands-on with middleware systems, messaging technologies, and cloud environments, helping modernize and maintain critical systems. This is a highly visible role within a collaborative and agile engineering team, ideal for someone who thrives on systems architecture, infrastructure reliability, and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain SWIFT products and components including Alliance Cloud, Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and Alliance Web Platform

• Engineer and maintain Linux and Unix-based systems

• Lead efforts to migrate on-premise infrastructure to the cloud

• Collaborate with agile teams to support middleware and messaging platforms (IBM MQ, SQS/SNS)

• Utilize Python for automation and systems scripting

• Ensure system integrity, perform debugging, and resolve operational errors

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SWIFT technologies and infrastructure

• 2+ years of experience with Linux and Unix systems engineering

• Experience in cloud technologies and migration from on-premise infrastructure to cloud environments

• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming

• Experience with middleware/messaging tools like IBM MQ and AWS SQS/SNS

• Skilled in tools such as UNIX, SQL, Excel, REST API, XML, and JIRA

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in agile frameworks

• Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint for documentation and collaboration
