Position: Data Migration Specialist
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Migration Specialist to join their team!
We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist with experience in Land and Right-of-Way (ROW) data to support large-scale system transitions. This role will be responsible for migrating complex land and ROW datasets from legacy platforms to new systems while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with legal and operational standards.
Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and oversee the migration of land and ROW data including ownership records, easements, leases, permits, and GIS layers.

Work closely with land, legal, GIS, and IT teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Analyze and map source and target data structures, with a deep understanding of land and ROW terminology and documentation.

Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transfer data between systems.

Validate and clean data to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Conduct post-migration audits to verify completeness and correctness of migrated data.

Resolve discrepancies and troubleshoot issues related to spatial data, parcel information, and contract metadata.

Document migration procedures and configurations for ongoing maintenance and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, GIS, Land Management, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in data migration, with a focus on land and ROW projects.

Familiarity with land/ROW systems (e.g., Quorum, Pandell, GeoAMPS, or equivalent).

Proficiency in SQL and data migration tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica).

Experience working with GIS data (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS) and integrating spatial and tabular datasets.

Strong understanding of land rights, easement documentation, and ROW acquisition processes.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
