Position: Payroll Accountant

Compensation: $65,000 – $78,000 annually

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll Accountant to join their team!

As a Payroll Accountant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll processes, collaborating with HR and Finance teams, and contributing to the financial health of the company. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
• Maintain and update employee payroll records
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports
• Manage accounts receivable and perform collection duties
• Process cash receipts and credit invoices
• Resolve bill and payment discrepancies
• Participate in monthly and year-end financial close
• Assist Controller with accounting tasks
• Maintain secure filing and storage of records

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience
• 3-5 years of accounting and payroll experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a global manufacturing company
• CPA certification
• Knowledge of AI automation tools
• Experience with ERP systems
• Masters degree in accounting
