Compensation: $120,000-$150,000

Location: Boulder, CO 

Position: Sr. Software Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join their team!

You’ll join a collaborative and Agile team focused on building high-quality, high-impact software. The team values technical leadership, creative problem solving, and long-term vision as they modernize their platforms and scale for future growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful work, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to product evolution from both a technical and strategic lens!

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-quality software systems with complex functionality and real-world impact

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across Agile Scrum teams

• Participate in system architecture discussions and provide guidance on best practices and design patterns

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, QA, and DevOps to ensure efficient delivery

• Maintain and support production systems in partnership with system administrators as needed

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retros, etc.)

• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and bring forward recommendations for innovation

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience

• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment

• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and SQL Server

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (preferably Angular), HTML5, CSS, and responsive web development

• Experience with Visual Studio, Entity Framework, and database design principles

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with Telerik, Crystal Reports, and change control technologies

• Experience supporting external integrations and multi-tenant environments

• Exposure to AWS cloud environments or service-oriented architecture

• Prior work with monitoring, compliance, or public safety-related systems
