Position: Sr Tax Accountant
Compensation: $ 80,000 – 100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns
- Manage personal property tax renditions
- Handle sales and use tax returns
- Reconcile intercompany account balances
- Calculate income tax provisions
- Research tax issues affecting the company
- Correspond with local tax authorities
- Adapt to tax law changes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax
- 5 years experience in public accounting or industry
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Federal Internal Revenue Code
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and PIVOT
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Thompson Reuters “Income Tax”
- Working knowledge of freight forwarding/trucking business
- CPA certification or Enrolled Agent preferred
