Compensation: Up to $24/hour with conversion not exceeding $24/hour
Location: Fully Remote
Position: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Tier 1 Service Desk Technician

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Tier 1 Service Desk Technician to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on IT experience in a supportive environment. The role offers exposure to everyday service desk operations, troubleshooting POS systems, and collaborating with internal teams. This position is available due to growth and increased support needs, providing an exciting chance to make an impact in a dynamic IT department.

Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support to stores and internal users.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues such as pin pads, printers, and network connectivity.
• Assist with POS system issues and escalate to Tier 2 as needed.
• Follow documented processes and procedures to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with users and support center staff to ensure timely resolutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Entry-level IT experience (professional role or relevant coursework).
• Hands-on experience working with computers or technical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow documentation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• CompTIA A+ certification or similar IT certification.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting.
