Position: Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Compensation: $ 85,000 – 100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team!

Join a dynamic team in the oil and gas industry, leading financial reporting functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements and lease operating statements. Be part of a proactive team supporting external reporting and compliance requirements. This role offers the chance to work closely with operations, land, and legal teams to ensure accurate financial disclosures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Generate detailed lease operating statements (LOS).
• Manage bank compliance reporting and cash flow sweeps.
• Coordinate with external auditors for timely audit support.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with financial data and variance analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting accuracy.
• Assist in board presentations and investor materials preparation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm experience.
• Oil and gas industry experience.
• Experience with financial reporting software.
• Prior experience with banks and/or private equity investors.
