Compensation: $30-38/hr 

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 

Position: Joint Venture Accountant 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled JV Accountant to join their team!

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative accounting environment within the oil and gas industry. As a JV Accountant, you will play a critical role in conducting and documenting moderately complex joint venture accounting projects. You’ll contribute to strategic financial recommendations, maintain accounting master data, and ensure compliance with COPAS and GAAP standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in JV accounting while making a meaningful impact on financial processes and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Conduct joint venture accounting projects and verify transactions to ensure compliance with COPAS and GAAP standards

• Administer AFE workflows and maintain expenditure master data including WBS, cost centers, and JIB DOIs

• Perform prior period adjustments, account reconciliations, and collaborate with internal teams to drive financial strategy

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS

• 5–7 years of experience in JV Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Account Reconciliation

• Strong understanding of GAAP, ERP systems, and COPAS guidelines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Background in the oil and gas or energy sector

• Hands-on experience with financial reporting standards (FRS)

• Familiarity with digital accounting systems and process improvements
