Position: Financial Reporting Manager

Compensation: $110,000-125,000

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join their team!

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you'll lead a team in the Corporate Accounting and Finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and play a key role in strategic initiatives. This opportunity offers exposure to senior leadership and the chance to drive meaningful change within the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead financial reporting team in accounting and financial statement consolidation
• Ensure accurate transaction accounting in the general ledger
• Provide guidance on GAAP and related requirements
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc reports
• Oversee month-end close process and reporting deliverables
• Evaluate new disclosure requirements for compliance
• Coordinate audit deliverables for year-end financial audits
• Supervise and support financial reporting team members
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 11 years of experience in financial reporting
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting
• Experience with auditing and compliance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven supervisory and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Public accounting experience
• Experience with automation tools
• Experience partnering with international teams
• Strong strategic perspective
