Position: Senior Security Engineer

Compensation: $58-$68/hr. 

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Security Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a major transition from on-premises to cloud infrastructure. The company is moving their ERP system to Oracle Cloud and is seeking an expert with a strong background in Azure to ensure a secure and seamless transition. Join a dynamic team of security professionals and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust security solutions. This position offers the chance to make a high impact within the organization, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. The role is opening due to the company's record-breaking growth and expansion in their IT department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Act as the primary technical resource for design and implementation projects.
• Draft and recommend operating procedures and changes to information security practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure software development practices.
• Design and implement security solutions for various platforms.
• Monitor and analyze security events to ensure backend and correlation are effective.
• Assist in incident response and contribute to post-incident analysis.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or related field (Preferred).
• 5+ years of information security experience (Preferred).
• Proficient with multiple IT platforms including Microsoft Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of information security practices.
• Substantial knowledge of Python and Azure.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud.
• Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity framework and ISO 270XX.
• Experience with network security, security monitoring, and compliance configuration.
• Technical writing and documentation skills.
