Position: Senior Internal Auditor

Compensation: $ 103,000 – 107,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Full Remote, must sit in DFW and be willing to come onsite 1x/month.

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join their team!

Join a dynamic and collaborative team as a Senior Internal Auditor, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of internal audits. This role offers a unique chance to build and enhance the internal audit function from the ground up. As a key player in a team of four, you will report to the Financial Operations Manager and work closely with leadership to establish and promote internal audit practices. This is a remote role with monthly onsite meetings in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. The company is focused on being “SOX forward,” and you’ll play a crucial role in their journey. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan
• Evaluate financial and operational procedures
• Identify control gaps and process improvements
• Participate in all aspects of audits, including testing and documentation
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
• Prepare reports for senior management and Audit Committee
• Assist in enterprise risk assessment and annual audit plan
• Conduct fraud investigations as needed
• Collaborate with project management teams on control design
• Build relationships with business leaders and staff

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
• Three plus years in public accounting or internal auditing
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Professional certification (CPA or CIA)
• Experience in the healthcare industry
• Experience in public sector
