Position: Technical Business Analyst

Compensation: $50-67/hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their team!

Join a dynamic team supporting measurement applications within the oil and gas sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication between business units and the technical team, focusing on the Flow-Cal application. As the main point of contact, you will ensure project progression and support of business needs. The opportunity is open due to expansion and the need for technical expertise in SQL and Flow-Cal. This is an exciting chance to contribute to a small, impactful team and make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ensure business units receive necessary support for Flow-Cal application
• Coordinate and distribute work across the team
• Act as main communication channel between business units and technical team
• Conduct technical tasks as needed within the team
• Facilitate project progress and ensure timely completion
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Flow-Cal system

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency in SQL for queries and data manipulation
• Experience with Flow-Cal application support
• Understanding of oil and gas measurement teams
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools
• Technical background in IT related to oil and gas

• Onsite work Monday to Thursday, remote on Fridays
• Three-round interview process: initial call, technical interview, and business unit interview
