Position: Staff Accountant

Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a vibrant downtown location. The company is expanding its accounting department and is looking for a motivated individual to help streamline processes and manage key financial transactions. This role offers the chance to grow professionally and contribute to a well-established firm known for its flexibility and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage booking of cash and reinsurance transactions
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, including account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all accounting entries and support for audit purposes.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of transaction reporting.
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure proper internal controls are followed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to cash transactions or reinsurance accounting
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
