Position: Senior Fortinet Network Engineer

Compensation: $55 – 65 /hour

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Fortinet Network Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Fortinet Network Engineer where you’ll design, implement, and manage enterprise LAN/WAN and cloud network infrastructures. This opportunity arises to restore the team to its original size, as the current Senior Network Engineer is overloaded. Enjoy a hybrid work model with a collaborative and fast-paced environment, providing a chance to make a significant impact on network refresh projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and manage enterprise LAN/WAN and cloud networks
• Lead network refresh projects from SonicWall to Fortinet
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi solutions
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for network issues
• Oversee cloud-based telephony solutions
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
• Maintain documentation and ensure security compliance
• Available for after-hours major incidents

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 6-8+ years of progressive network experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Fortinet experience
• Strong background in firewalls, routing, and switching
• Cloud network integration experience (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with VoIP and telecom systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to SonicWall for migration projects
• Project management experience for network refresh

• Hybrid model: 3 days onsite, moving to 2
