Position: Electrical Designer

Compensation: $28 – $35 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Join a dynamic team as an Assistant Electrical Designer, where you will assist in planning, site evaluations, and creating electrical designs for diverse projects. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist in planning and site evaluations
• Create electrical schematics and grid layouts
• Prepare engineering drawings using CAD software
• Analyze reports and design projects
• Incorporate schedules and budgets into designs
• Maintain project drawing revisions and information
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers
• Comply with company and project standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's in drafting technology or related field and 2 years of experience or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel
• Basic knowledge of design and calculations
• Ability to work in a multi-discipline project team

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience with electrical schematics and grid plan layouts
• Understanding of electrical power systems and lighting
• Ability to prepare engineering drawings in 2D and 3D applications
• Familiarity with design codes and specifications
• Strong collaborative skills with project teams
• Experience with non-routine assignments
