Position: Desktop Engineering Lead

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Streamline desktop engineering processes and enhance efficiency
• Develop automation tools to improve desktop management
• Execute patch management to ensure system security
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team
• Collaborate with IT teams to align technology with business goals
• Define and enforce desktop engineering standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years in IT desktop engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Expertise in Windows environments and endpoint management
• Proficiency in PowerShell; Python or Bash is optional
• Experience in patch orchestration and software packaging

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with virtual desktops and Thin Client setups
• Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V platforms
• Methodical, data-driven approach to problem-solving
