Position: Business Analyst

Compensation: $40 – $45 /hour

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Analyst to join their team!

This exciting opportunity is perfect for a Business Analyst looking to make a significant impact in a company’s data transformation journey. You’ll bridge the gap between business priorities and technical implementation, working closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to refine business stories into actionable technical requirements. The role is ideal for someone with exceptional communication skills and technical fluency, who can navigate complex business and IT landscapes to create alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Develop understanding of technical systems and business processes
• Elicit user and technical requirements for new initiatives
• Refine business requirements into detailed technical requirements
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to align requirements
• Support design of CI/CD pipelines and data transformation workflows
• Ensure requirements support data-as-a-product principles
• Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot issues effectively

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience
• Minimum 4 years technical business analysis experience
• Knowledge of agile development methodology
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Ability to write technical acceptance criteria
• Familiarity with data platforms and governance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with GCP, Confluent, Kafka, and Apigee
