Position: Network Engineer

Compensation: $125,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Katy, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team on transformative projects. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing network solutions, focusing on transitioning from Cisco to Fortinet across various locations. This position is perfect for those who thrive in project-based roles rather than day-to-day ticket management, ensuring a challenging and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and implement network solutions
• Focus on hardware rollouts and project execution
• Transition from Cisco to Fortinet across locations
• Provide Tier 3/4 support for network issues
• Conduct off-hours store visits for hardware cutovers
• Collaborate in cross-functional environments
• Utilize strong BGP expertise in network design
• Engage in hands-on technical tasks

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 8+ years of network engineering experience
• Strong expertise in BGP and network design
• Experience with Cisco LAN/WAN, routing, and switching
• Familiarity with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls
• CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Certifications like CCNA or CCNP
• Experience in banking, healthcare, or retail sectors
• Technical versatility and leadership skills
