Compensation: $35-$40/hr 

Location: Castle Rock, CO

Position: IT Asset Management Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Asset Management Specialist to join their team!

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in best practices, process design, and ITAM systems to clean up current workflows, optimize ServiceNow’s asset management module, and create sustainable processes moving forward. Responsibilities:

• Perform complete hardware and software inventory.

• Clean up and optimize the ServiceNow asset management module.

• Review current processes and align them with ITAM best practices.

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to IT assets and licenses.

• Forecast future asset requirements and budget accordingly.

• Generate asset reports as defined by leadership.

• Develop storeroom inventory processes.

• Create an overall asset management program including roles and responsibilities for internal teams.

• Train and support staff on asset management best practices.

• Develop procedures for asset loss, theft, or misuse.

• Support audits with documentation and asset records.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT asset management or IT operations.

• Strong knowledge of ITAM tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, SCCM).

• Experience with process design and documentation.

• Software license management and compliance expertise.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM) certification.

• Experience in enterprise environments or regulated industries.

• ITIL certification or experience with ITIL framework.
