Position: Network Operations Analyst

Compensation: $ 55 – 75 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Mont Belvieu, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and implement LAN/WAN infrastructure for operations
• Maintain Cisco and Palo Alto hardware
• Utilize OSPF, BGP, NAT/PAT, and VPN technologies
• Ensure network security best practices are followed
• Collaborate with telecom vendors to meet project goals
• Provide real-time network system support
• Develop cost-effective solutions for business requirements
• Lead without direct supervision
• Mentor junior network team members

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
• 7 to 10 years of network infrastructure experience
• Strong understanding of information security concepts
• Experience with firewall operation and policy development
• Ability to be on rotating 24×7 on-call rotation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Current CCNP and/or PCNSE certifications
• Experience with Aruba Wireless Infrastructure
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
• Oil and Gas industry experience
• Experience with Solarwinds
