Position: LIS Analyst

Compensation: $30 – $40 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Full Remote

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled LIS Analyst to join their team!

Join a dynamic environment where you will lead the charge in managing and maintaining Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare technology, ensuring seamless integration and operation of laboratory systems. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee LIS implementation and maintenance
• Provide guidance on CLIA ’88 regulations and accreditation standards
• Coordinate with IT, vendors, and customers on project plans
• Develop and enforce LIS programs, policies, and procedures
• Manage LIS integration with lab instruments and reference labs
• Ensure LIS security measures comply with HIPAA/HITECH regulations
• Evaluate and recommend system enhancements and upgrades
• Provide on-call support for LIS maintenance activities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of LIS management in a clinical setting
• Experience in clinical laboratory operations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH regulations
• Experience with Orchard system LIS

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with TempTrak devices
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field
• SQL knowledge and report writing experience
• Background in software quality assurance testing
