Position: Controller

Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Controller to join their team!

Join a dynamic finance team as a Controller, overseeing all financial and accounting functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure financial accuracy and compliance while providing strategic insights for executive decision-making. This role offers a balance of hands-on daily accounting operations and strategic oversight of investments and long-term financial planning.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital needs; prepare forecasts
• Manage reconciliations for bank, credit card, and other financial accounts
• Oversee real estate accounting, property-level reporting, and compliance
• Provide financial modeling and ROI analysis to support investment decisions
• Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget with department leaders
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
• Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and data
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of LLC tax structures and investment reporting
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and improving accounting processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in real estate accounting
• Experience with financial modeling and ROI analysis
