Position: Cutover Manager

Compensation: $80 – $90 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Remote/Hybrid, local to Houston, TX

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cutover Manager to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as a Cutover Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the IT transition for a major company spinoff. This is a unique opportunity to lead large-scale program initiatives, ensuring a smooth separation of IT services. This role is open due to a strategic company transformation, offering you the chance to make a significant impact in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead development and execution of end-to-end cutover plans
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system transitions
• Identify and mitigate risks related to cutover activities
• Manage hyper care phase post-cutover for incident response
• Provide regular status updates and performance metrics
• Drive process improvements for future cutover activities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5-7 years of IT project management experience
• Experience in end-to-end cutover planning or transition management
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems and data migration
• Proven experience with technical change management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Expertise in Project Management and technical migrations
• Experience with ServiceNow

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
• Expertise in technical migrations/integrations
• Experience with hypercare support in transformation initiatives
