Position: Accounting Manager

Compensation: $40 – $50 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team!

Step into a pivotal role where you'll oversee and enhance the daily operations of the accounting department. This opportunity allows you to ensure financial accuracy and compliance while supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage daily operations of accounting, including payroll and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with financial professionals
• Develop and implement accounting policies for improved efficiency
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities with variance analysis
• Manage, train, and mentor accounting staff
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions for stability
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA certification
• Corporate or public accounting experience
