Compensation: $30-$33/hr 

Location: Boulder, CO

Position: Technical Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Specialist to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge electronic products, troubleshooting and repairing sub-assemblies, while collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. You’ll be part of a company known for delivering innovative solutions nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair products and sub-assemblies to the component level, providing second-level support and failure analysis when needed.

• Accurately complete all documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, material reject forms, and system entries.

• Train and mentor lower-level technicians and production specialists on standard test procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and job-related paperwork.

• Collect data and generate regular reports on testing and repair activities.

• Inspect products and sub-assemblies for compliance to documentation and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.

• At least 2 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret assembly procedures, drawings, and schematics.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software used in testing and repair.

• Ability to recognize acceptable vs. defective assemblies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Lead-free soldering experience.

• Experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering/de-soldering irons, and small hand tools.

• Experience in training or mentoring other technicians.
