Compensation: $120,000-$130,000

Location: Boulder, CO

Position: Senior Network Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure day-to-day operation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, servers, and software applications.

• Design, configure, monitor, and optimize system hardware for maximum uptime and reliability.

• Analyze system statistics and implement performance enhancements.

• Maintain reports on network performance, user issues, IT projects, and system inventory.

• Provide high-level Help Desk technical support for internal and external users.

• Track tickets, change management, and IT projects via the Help Desk system.

• Manage and maintain WAN and LAN networks, supporting the Telecom team as needed.

• Maintain and update network, application, and system documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.

• Strong expertise in VPN tunnel protocols (SSL, IPSEC, DMVPN), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and advanced Layer 2/3 networking.

• Experience with routers, switches, APs, firewalls, and network operating systems (JunOS, Cisco, Dell).

• AWS experience required.

• Strong knowledge of DNS, Windows Server (2008/2012/2016), UNIX/Linux (CentOS, RedHat), TCP/IP, and client-server technologies.

• Experience with log monitoring and SIEM appliances.

• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to all levels of management and team members.

  Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in physical data center infrastructure.

• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software conflicts in a 24×7 uptime environment.

• Experience providing technical guidance and advice to team members.
