Position: Security Analyst

Compensation: $ 45 – 60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst to join their team!

Join an innovative team where you'll manage and optimize logging tools for enhanced security. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to take ownership of SIEM tools. The role is open due to an increasing backlog of projects, offering a chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage all responsibilities of logging tools (SIEM)
• Ensure productive operation of Splunk and other SIEM tools
• Organize and monitor logs efficiently
• Coordinate with third-party SOC team for Splunk issues
• Monitor licensing and technical issues for tools
• Send log-related issues to appropriate groups
• Drive improvements and backlog resolution

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Heavy SIEM experience
• Extensive experience with logging
• Proficient with Splunk, Syslog NG, and Forti-Analyzer
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Linux experience
