Position: Senior Telecom Engineer

Compensation: $55 – $70 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Telecom Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic environment where you’ll lead telecom projects and support critical infrastructure transitions. You’ll play a pivotal role in migrating legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless operations. This opportunity is open due to expansion and offers the chance to work closely with industry experts on innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead migration of analog services to VoIP solutions
• Coordinate carrier circuit installations
• Provide escalation support for cloud-based platforms
• Manage telecom projects from start to finish
• Document designs and implementation plans
• Ensure timely project delivery with minimal disruption
• Act as technical contact during deployments
• Support day-to-day telecom operations
• Troubleshoot voice platform issues

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years in telecom or voice engineering
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge
• Experience with SIP and VoIP architectures
• Proficiency in cloud-based voice platforms
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with RingCentral and Five9
• Familiarity with ATAs and analog-to-digital migrations
• Experience with telecom billing and TEMS providers
• Knowledge of QoS, firewall/NAT for VoIP
• Scripting or automation experience
