Position: Denials Coordinator

Compensation: $ 21 – 33 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Denials Coordinator to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as a Denials Coordinator, where you’ll play a crucial role in improving collections and reducing open balances. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, providing valuable insights to prevent future denials. Be part of a company that values your expertise and offers potential growth with a hybrid work model after 90 days.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Target insurance denials to improve collections
  • Handle inpatient notices of admission and authorizations
  • Assist with first and second level appeals
  • Identify trends and root causes to prevent future denials
  • Prepare appeals on clinical denials
  • Submit Notices of Admission for missing inpatient admissions
  • Defend and appeal claims with required follow-up
  • Request inpatient authorizations for admissions without prior authorization
  • Collaborate with Denials Analyst and Underpayments Coordinator

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of two years in Insurance Follow-Up or Denials
  • Degree required
  • Knowledge of insurance collections and denials

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Clinical Denials experience
  • Epic experience
