Position: Denials Coordinator
Compensation: $21 – $33/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Denials Coordinator to join their team!
Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing collections and minimizing open balances. This opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about navigating insurance denials and appeals. Located near NW Expressway & Rockwell, the role offers a chance to work closely with a Denials Manager and RN, identifying trends and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Target insurance denials to enhance collections
- Handle inpatient notices, authorizations, and denials
- Assist with first and second level appeals
- Identify trends and root causes of denials
- Prepare appeals under guidance of Denials Manager
- Defend and appeal claims effectively
- Research root causes and adjust accounts
- Submit requests for clinical documentation clarification
- Collaborate with Denials Analyst on system errors
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum two years in insurance follow-up or denials
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance collections and denials
- Emphasis on professional coding preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Clinical denials experience preferred
- Epic experience is a plus
- CPC certification strongly encouraged
