Position: Property Accountant

Compensation: $72,000 – $78,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage general ledger activities and ensure accuracy
• Handle lease and contract accounting
• Collaborate with team for financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting
• Support audits and internal controls
• Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Accounting/Finance degree required
• 4+ years of property/real estate accounting experience required
• Lease/contract experience required
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AR/AP processes
• Knowledge of accounting software systems
• Familiarity with financial modeling
