Position: Presales Engineer

Compensation: $55 – $60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Presales Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic and innovative team as a Presales Engineer, where you’ll be the technical right arm of the sales team during prospecting meetings and initial design consultations. This opportunity is with a company that bridges network manufacturers and businesses, offering a unique chance to design and install cutting-edge network solutions. The role is open due to a growing demand for technical expertise and offers a travel-heavy experience throughout Central and South Texas, with the flexibility to work from home when not traveling.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Collaborate with sales team in prospecting meetings
• Design network solutions based on customer consultations
• Work alongside engineering team to implement designs
• Understand customer needs and communicate in sales settings
• Oversee network design and installation processes
• Provide technical expertise in routing, switching, and firewalls
• Travel throughout Central and South Texas for customer engagements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in network design and installations
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
• Ability to communicate technical solutions in sales settings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Presales or sales experience in a technical role
• Experience with network upgrades and troubleshooting
