Position: Senior Data Engineer

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: ONSITE — Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (No relocation assistance provided)

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in developing, optimizing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You’ll collaborate with various teams to design scalable data pipelines, integrate data sources, and ensure high-quality data availability. This role is essential in driving operational efficiencies and business insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and Matillion
• Optimize database performance and ensure efficient data storage
• Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements
• Ensure data integrity and security through best practices
• Support implementation of data models for business intelligence
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies
• Support integration efforts between structured and unstructured data sources
• Develop scripts and queries with Python, SQL, and PowerShell

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience (7+ years preferred)
• Extensive, hands-on, production experience with Snowflake (required)
• Extensive, hands-on, production experience with Matillion (required)
• Strong data warehousing expertise, including schema design, data modeling, and best practices
• Advanced SQL skills, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to understand and work within legacy SQL Server / SSIS-based data warehouse environments
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.)
• Knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and data services
• Experience with APIs, data integrations, or data streaming
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Use of LLMs in Snowflake Cortex for AI-powered insights
