Position: Specifications Writer- Architecture
Compensation: $83,000 – $117,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Prairie Village, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Specifications Writer- Architecture to join their team!
As a Specifications Writer, you will be instrumental in crafting precise and detailed project specifications, collaborating with team members, and ensuring project goals are met. This role is open due to the company's expansion and commitment to maintaining high standards in their architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review drawings and project information to write and edit specifications
- Assemble final specification documents and issue as needed
- Develop custom specification sections
- Support quality control review processes
- Coordinate specification schedules with internal staff and clients
- Research products, manufacturers, and codes related to specifications
- Maintain sample and reference library
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an Architectural/Engineering firm
- Proficiency in MasterSpec and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Autodesk Suite
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Licensed Architect preferred
- Experience working with CSI principles
- Strong problem-solving skills
