Position: WCAG Specialist

Compensation: $45-$68/hr, depending on experience

Location: Remote

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled WCAG Specialist to join their team!

Join a dynamic team dedicated to making the digital world accessible to everyone. As a WCAG Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring web applications meet high accessibility standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead accessibility compliance assessments for web applications
• Evaluate WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance across enterprise applications
• Collaborate with solution architects for coverage mapping
• Perform manual assessments for complex UI elements
• Develop and document remediation plans
• Guide and support development teams in remediation tasks
• Re-evaluate updated screens for compliance validation
• Deliver formal documentation demonstrating compliance

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards
• Proficiency in accessibility evaluation tools
• Strong understanding of web-based applications
• Expertise in HTML/CSS, ASP.NET Forms
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Razor, and XAML
• Experience with data-intensive web applications
• Ability to travel occasionally if needed
