Position: Senior Cost Analyst

Compensation: $ 90,000 – $ 100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

As the Senior Cost Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving cost reduction and improving profitability. With a focus on manufacturing and inventory accounting, this position offers the chance to develop leadership skills and advance your career. The role is open due to the company’s expansion and the need for experienced professionals to lead the team into the future.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain and update standard costs in ERP systems
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare detailed cost reports for management
• Review and reconcile inventory transactions
• Provide cost analysis for new product development
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate to improve costing processes and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in cost accounting in manufacturing
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with inventory management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience with process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
• Knowledge of variance analysis and margin analysis
